I'm about to start the production of my forum. I am going to be using IPB. I want it on a free forum host (I know what your going to say. :rofl: ) and it needs to allow me to use my .net domain and it needs a cash mod.

jcink will allow you to use your own domain, they allow you to make free backups of your board and I believe they do have a cash mod.

How can I find out for certain? They don't appear to have Mods listed. :shrug:

I suggest you get a webhost and install a forum software you will get alot more stuff that way.

Its not hard either.

Plus if you are just to lazy there are others around here that will install what you want for free 😉.

Agreed. IPB 1.3 is highly outdated. If you really want to use a free forum host, use a phpBB3 or SMF one. They are much much better.

Though regarding your question, the last time I used IPB 1.3 I think it was on Forumer.com or something like that. I know a good few boards on forumer had TLDs as well.

The only bad thing about Forumer is that giant ad at the bottom of your forum. If you're going with a free one, stay away from Zetaboards.

I ain't lazy mate. I downloaded Mybb and tried to transfer the files to my SiteFrost account. It didn't work out well. 😕

Anyway, I'll ask Chris and see what he says.
