Who all of you would like LiquidServe.com to offer IPBoard license with a web hosting plan?

We are actually thinking of partnering 😀

Sounds like it would be a great offer for your customers and potential customers. Have you spoken to IPB about partnering?

Ya sort of. Just waiting for final approval.

PS: I think I would have to do something like 6-months advance payment or something like only the domain which is hosted with LiquidServe can avail this promotion.

Risky move. Could work out very well, and not.

If you have ideas to make it successful, then I'd say go for it, otherwise, I wouldn't.

It might give you lots more customers but it could be a risky move as well.

I also have to add, that you would have to make some sort of incentive for using your service as opposed to the official IPB service.

Ya it would be given free with hosting to people! 😉 and I don't think I would be increasing the prices too mucch
just need to do a good deal with IPB 😉

I don't think you would be able to make it cheaper than the IPB hosting solutions than.. Simply because they're not going to give you the ability to be cheaper than themselves. That wouldn't make any sense.

Good luck though, I'm very interested to see how you will make this work, if you go through with it 🙂

Competition is good. I have three sites currently with IPS's hosted services. How would your offerings differentiate from what they offer?

Nathan, it's possible they could offer cheaper, as IPS's cost basis is on traffic and goes up steeply once you get a bit of traffic coming in.

@ Pete D, my whole point is based on the fact that I don't see why IPB would allow someone the ability to provide people with IPB hosting which will differ people from using their own provided service. No company stays rich by giving money away..

However if they do some sort of commission based deal, I can see this working.

Thats where liquidserve is diffwrent we would be providing hosting based on Space and Bandwidth consumption and not limiting on the number of users online...
Thats the key point where we would be different from the batch....

Yeah I can see how it will be different, I'm just curious to how the deal with IPB will work. As I stated earlier, people don't stay rich by giving money away.

1. We're talking about a commision based model.

2. I read it somewhere, and I am a firm beleiver of the facy that the mor you give the more you get 😉
I have seen it apply for myself too, and maybe IPboard thinks the same.

@ point 2.

Not really.. It's always good to not be greedy, however if you give away $2 million dollars, you're not just going to get $4 million dollars for nothing, if we're being realistic of course.

IDK but I think it might be that u would be getting 4 Million $ but it might be in a longer run!
