About 5 million people own a iPhone.

Theres no chance i'll get the smallest percentage of them to my forum but i'd say thats a pretty large potential audience base

..i have to say i like the uniqueness of this forum. The style is very nice, and i can see this getting very big should you advertise it enough.

I am just saying he is restricting the number of possible visitors massively which he is doing which will make it hard to get members which it will do. Not useless but helpful advice to open up the number of people that could use it.

I'd suggest an iPhone subdomain and using the mail URL as a computer version. Or better yet, a redirect according to the browser information. iPhone specific viewers will be forwarded to one location, computer viewers to another.
