iPod App Transfer?

So, I am getting a new iPod and am wondering, can I transfer the paid material from my old iPod to my new iPod? I have like $90 invested in non music add-ons for my current iPod.

I think apps are tied to your iTunes account, so you might be able to redownload them onto your new iPod for free.

I don't know for sure, though.

Yeah, all of your apps are connected to your iTunes account, simply download the apps on your new iPod with your current account and it will tell you that because you've purchased it before, it's free.

Okay, so just to make sure, when I go to download an app and it asks me for my account, I need to type in my account details for my current account, correct? That will let me download all apps? Awesome!

You should just be able to transfer them from your computer if you moved them over when syncing.
