Yeah I get the feeling it was rigged, Rachel Maddow did a little review of some of the election statistics, and in some places 120% of the population voted. -~-
And no, they should not have that right, it is the people's right to say what they want, and if the government continues to try to keep information from leaking, and stopping protests it is just going to stir up trouble for itself.
The thing is, there are too many people wanting Mousavi for Ahmadinejad to of won, it's just doesn't look likely.
Yeah, there were more votes than voters in some places. -lol-
And the way the pro-Ahmadinejad people are acting tells me they think he lost, because people don't feel the need to use force if they know they did something the way they are supposed to, but if they do it wrong, they act funny, try to hide it. You know?
The thing is, if Mousavi won, he will probably get the presidency in the end, there are just too many people watching for anyone to "sneak".
Personally I think the best stratagy for the government would be to let the people protest, keeping them from doing what they want will just stir up trouble for itself.
They should also give better proof that Ahmadinejad won, same for Mousavi, once there is proof that one of them won, the whole thing will just die down.
It's not my job to judge whether or not it was rigged, but I can tell you that the limited freedoms part is pissing me off about it. From what i've seen so far on iran.whyweprotest.net and other sites like it, it's utter bull. They cannot attempt to keep people quite about such a thing, and they have been failing at it as well. However, I also think that this time it's up to the iran people to fight. No other countries should step in, it just complicates things.
