At Gorepit my webalizer stats say that there's been over 1.8 million hits. Now I know hits are reachings to anything on the server such as images from google images etc... Is 1.8 million a relatively high number for this or low? 🙂

You can get an update now button appear in AWstats so you can update them when you want.Nathan said:Im not sure if webalizer instantly updates or not, awstats however doesn't and it usually takes a day after to update and that may be the reason of the difference in stats, id check for you but im currently on my psp therefore it's a pain to access my cpanel. However with that said you won't really ever get an 100% clear log statistics. No problem about the guide it's there for everyone just enjoy the read 😉
AllowToUpdateStatsFromBrowser=0
AllowToUpdateStatsFromBrowser=1

Go to home/username/tmp/awstats and you will see a file with the extension .conf. Edit that file and search for the following
And replace withCode:AllowToUpdateStatsFromBrowser=0
Code:AllowToUpdateStatsFromBrowser=1
Then go to AWstats again and near the top an "Update Now" button appears.

(BTW, 1.8m hits, over how long of a period was that measuring?)
