I have yet to find a really cool skin that I absolutely love for my blog but I just can't seem to find THE ONE. I really prefer a simple design but also like a little bit of color and easy to read layout without requiring my readers to do much scrolling. I'm starting to wonder if it might be worth investing in a premium theme. I just think that simple yet attractive design shouldn't be hard to find but it seems to be quite difficult for me.

Do you think a custom or premium blog theme is worth paying for? Have you purchased one before? Was it worth it? Do you refuse to pay for a premium theme? If so, how come?

I try to always use a premium theme on each project I own.

If you know the programming, then you can customize it easily and build up a premium theme yourself. You will not require to buy a custom/premium theme and save your pocket.

Yep, but only if you're really serious about blogging. A unique design is an important part of a site's success, but every site doesn't necessarily aim to be a big deal.

If you are serious on blogging, I think you should. About me, I have not purchased one. It is not because I do not like, but I have not had a serious career with this blog so I have not needed one. But in my plan, I have to choose one, because I want to create unique website for my brand.
