Is age important where you come from?

Yes, respecting elders and listening to what they say is very important in my culture. Of course times have changed and we millennials have a better understanding of the current world than most elders, but still their lessons can come in handy.

Age is relevant. I mean you can't do things until certain ages.... Once you get past the age of 21 - age begins to become irrelevant though - all just milestones, but we don't typically hire based on age. Some ages if too old may be too old to be considered I suppose for a job if it is a taxing job.

Of course age is important. You have to be a certain age to work, vote, drink alcohol, sign contracts, etc.

I don't feel we respect the views and needs of that generation in the UK. I'm heading that way myself so I'll report back when I get there 🙂

I think it's pretty important, honestly, but it's not just the age, it's the generation. If I were to date 7 years down, that's a young millenial. If I were to date 7 years up. thats Gen X.

In my culture, age can be used to allocate resources to people. The general consensus is that older people are more deserving.

Age is just a number in my culture. People are materialistic in my place. They rate your achievements over your age.
