But the thing is, that's not the plan. Obama isn't trying to distribute wealth around and run production... that's not what's going to happen at all.

Healthcare is a human right, it's a human right to get what you need to survive and be healthy, it's not like Obama is running around offering people free computers or free houses or free this or that. It's simply not what's happening. His social beliefs are not far enough to the left, and that's why most liberals are pissed at him.. Yeah, all great empires failed, but things were quite different back then. I'm not saying that the US is not going to fail, it's easily possible, but the nations of this world are all tied together. We're an integrated planet. If the US starts to fail, other countries will feel the effects.
