Is Google Adsense cheating site owners?

I get a good amount of traffic on my forum and Hubs (Hubgpages) but it seems the Adsense from that is very low by comparison to what it should be. Do you ever think Adsense might be cheating site owners in their own favor, making up rules that would cause the majority of money being generated from clicks to go to them not the forum or blog owner?

I used many other ads. According to my experience, adsense is the best of them. You can get more if you use popup ads by edomz, but that might annoy your visitors.

I've always said that we give Google's Ad customers a lot more traffic and sales than Google gives us revenue for adsense earnings. 😉

I don't get a huge amount of money from Google ads, but I don't think I've been cheated by them either. It's just that ad networks in general tend to pay pretty low for the amount of traffic you get.

As far as advertising, Adsense is almost a monopoly. Even though they probably cheat us out of more money than we know (though not as much as some think), it's still the best option (for better or worse) for monetizing your site through ads.

Also, Google owns the world. Google Search, Adsense, Android, Blogger, YouTube....

If any of you guys have a good alternative to Adsense, do tell.

The revenue split on Adsense isn't a secret, you can find it on your account information page.

The default is 68%, meaning for every £100, you get £68 and Google gets £32

that's hard to tell... since few months back, some people reported to experience their adsense/ adwords account banned with no reason... So, how do you conclude this ? really, it's weirdd
