I find that to be impossible. There's no way someone is managing to do that, and if so, then they have too much time on their hands to get to PR4 in such little time.

You would of had to of found that information a long time ago since Google have not done a PR update since the start of the year so it would of been impossible in the last 49 days.

Perhaps the domains were registered before with a lot of content, but they expired and someone got them.

It will be because the domain used to have that rank. Say Twitter.com expired and someone bought it a few months later, or quite a while later it will still have the high PR yet you technically just bought it.

This is exactly what happens.
People register domains which people do not renew. People are on the hunt all the time for expired PR domains.

It is not possible in SEO but if they are apply black hat seo then it is possible and improve website.
Black hat seo is the way for increasing traffic on selected wesites.

You should always check when the website was first visible. Maybe it is an old domain with PR and is again renewed by some other webmaster.

Hi,
It's not impossible that 46 days old domain have achieved 4 PR. It might be.
But as your query it might be fake.
As far as I know, it's been a long time that Google does not update Page Rank. Google will have to run PR algorithm to achieve a PR. How it is possible to gain a PR without PR update?

Any page rank displays are a bit meaningless, since they're based on old data. So for established sites, it shows their page rank as of a few weeks/months ago. For new ones, it might show that of the past site on that domain, etc.

Just ignore it.

It's not fake. But Google doesn't care about it anymore anyway so it doesn't matter anymore..

I don't think PR is fake. The algorithm behind it is very complex not just made up in one day. Google wouldn't be as popular is it is if it were fake.
