Is it ever ok for a man to hit a woman?

If your in a rship then no either way

If your not and its just some random person on the street then i guess its fine you have to depend yourself
 
Hitting or assaulting anyone out of self defense is okay and is the right thing to do. Hitting or assaulting someone out of vain when it's not needed for defense is wrong. If someone hits you in vain whether it'd be a man or woman, turn the other cheak. That doesn't mean role over and play dead. It just means to not hold grudges when someone does that to you. Always defend yourself the best you can, but never hold grudges and retaliate out of vain.
 
In my opinion, a woman should never hit a man and a man should never hit a woman.

Only in self defense would it be ok. If the woman had a gun to the guys head or something of that nature, than to hit and run would be better than taking the shot...
 
But then if there was a crazy woman hitting a man and he strikes her out of self defence he will be the one who gets sent down.

I dont think its ok to hit a woman to cause harm or out of anger.
 
If the female starts the fight first and after a while (the hitting) then the male can defend himself just like if a male starts hitting a female then the female can defend herself...
 
Never because we woman are naturally weaker then , they are. We would have no fighting chance at defence. It's like hitting a little kid.
 
Lol, you think I wouldn't defend myself againsted you after the few 10 or 20 hits, kicks, pulling of my hair, scratching, ect.? Earth to Lily!

I'm not going to just let anyone beat me up, I don't care if it's a man or a woman, if you start hitting me first than you can take it also...

Also, some woman are stronger and good at fighting and that can beat up men...
 
well, i don't see why women should be able to hit men, let alone vice versa.
 
Especially now with all the chav girls. Should be able to go and nut them in the face -lol-
 
I don't think anyone should be in a violent relationship, but if a women is gonna go hit and beat up on a man then he should protect himself without being violent to the women.

As a last resort, yes. Otherwise no. If a women tried to attack me and my only solution is to hit her, then I would do it but if I can resolve the problem without actually hitting her, then I wouldn't.
 
I will never hit back. It's low and people tend to regret it afterwards if they're decent people. If not, they're not worth the attention it might bring.
