The stats strongly say no. Well, I tried with my late wife but it was impossible, but she did come back two times before her end, seeing I was successful working at a job (but I think because of my sincere prayers one time).
But the downfall in my story had me to blame somewhat also I was too immature to handle stuff coming my way. But then again, not every immature person is dealing with bipolar people.
Note: there was tons of harassment and rejection from my family because they couldn't rationalize her violent behavior when it was against one of their family members (not me though).
And she lost legal contact with our baby son which drove her to extremes of her disease.
