I have a American 1967 half dollar coin that I had for years that I just found today after cleaning up, and I was wounding what the value is?

It's definitely in good condition and still has that shine to it. I never been to America and here I am living in Australia and probably the only person who has this coin in the Australia country.

You should realise that you have a wonderful search engine known as Google, that will be able to answer your question; more than likely. Members here, such as me, are only going to consult Google to produce your answer. identify your exact coin, navigate the website if you must and you'll find out. If it's the "Kennedy Half Dollar" apparently it's worth less than $5 USD.

Yeah I personally have no idea. I know the 1960's have some coins that were possible to have good money, but I honestly never knew which ones they were/are.

I don't think any of those are super valuable, but you can probably get more than 50 cents for it.

I'm an American currency historian and certified coin expert. I represent a large group of currency brain trusts who have a combined hundreds of years of experience. I can guarantee you that any appraisal you find on Google or other websites will be misguided and poorly calculated. We can provide you with an accurate appraisal for the low cost of $4.99. PM me if you're interested. 🙂

Do you have proof to say that you are? also that you are saying that will cost $4.99 for founding out how much it's worth?

I read information that the valued at somewhere around 50 cents, while one in certified mint state condition could bring as much as $100. If it is be valued at around 50 cents then to melt the silver be around $2.24. I wish it was $100 or 1 million 😛

40% is pretty worthless to even bother to stack. Some preppers might buy it in rolls because its cheap, recognizable and makes for easy trade. At current silver prices you have close to 2.50usd in silver for the coin. If you had a roll of 20 you would have about 3toz worth about 47usd.

If you want some tips or whatever or coins you can send me a PM and I wont charge you 4.99 for an opinion or for something as simple as what your coins are worth. It's my hobby and most of us welcome newcomers and don't charge for common information we all know about.

Here is a link. I collect coins from OZ, but I get them in The States. Coin collectors are worldwide. Many places ship worldwide. This is Australia's Perth Mint direct. Good stuff. Well known for the quality.

If the corn is worth $1 or less then paying $4.99 to found out is an wast of an time. But in the long run it's good to know. Also I'm going to keep it anyway. also I'm in the UK now  so might be the only one for 100 yards that has this corn.

Anyway, months ago I did find very old Australian 1c coins, and I have 15 of them in a old tin. Also 2p. Unfortunately it's worth nothing since it's been like 20 or so years since Ozz stopped doing it and there are so many coins still around

Keep the coin and pass it on for generations, the price will go up as time goes on.

If your going to secure a part of your portfolio buy some metal(gold/silver). Buy a few ounces and play with that stuff a bit and you will love it and get hooked. Just be careful on your buys. Don't do anything rash and never put all your eggs in one basket.

No more than 5-8% of your assets to mess around with. Metal is a good asset but many ppl play the game wrong and lose overall chasing POS to keep down that DCA. You'll be stuck in the loop chase.

Bad move. Buy a bit here and there to collect and have fun

Here is something for Empire. These little babies are going for only about 18usd at this time for the 2016's..Older years will fetch you a good buck if you have not collected them when the series started. I only allocate a set amount of monies per month for metal. Just me. I am more into Eagles and generic, but I collect a few Perth series and some other stuff. Metal is awesome to play with.

I honestly have no clue. My pawpaw used to collect coins and I know he made a few dollars from some of them.

Given that spot is $16.50, $18USD including shipping is not too bad, though I don't see anywhere online that sells those that cheap.
