Quick question......the criminals don't obey the laws you've got now, what makes you think they're going to obey a gun ban?

If you ban guns, you're only taking guns away from the law abiding citizens who aren't doing anything. The only people who have guns will be the people who are causing all the problems to begin with so I don't really think you're accomplishing anything here. Glad I don't live in New Mexico.

I totally agree! I was actually thinking about this last night and how the news doesn't like to say "gang" on tv. Of course the gangs have their stash of weapons and aren't giving them up. So what happens if the politicians ban everyone from gun ownership and at some point a civil war breaks out? My money is on the gangs taking over the entire country. Scary thought.

All criminals in general, not just gangs, will be able to do what they want if there is a gun ban. They'll be able to pray on the law abiding citizens more easily if a gun ban is passed. Which is why you couldn't pay me to live there in New Mexico. I don't care if you gave me a house there for free.......I'd sell it and live somewhere else.
