Is a computer better to have than a XBOX or PS4 ? THIS has been a never ending discussion that I hope someone can end very quickly. I have been researching trying to find out the best answer to this question.

There is no real deal answer here. As an big PC gamer user! PC is the best out of all of them why!
  1. You can have any hardware you want, Like an $2,000 PC will kill the other platforms
  2. Games are cheap in away and all on one platform of steam or whatever and still can by it on discs if you want. Yet most of it are now downloadable games
  3. PC support controllers as well as Keyboard and mouse.
  4. If you are an steamer then you need an PC to steam with anyway and at least PC can run more webcams
  5. Screens, Yea you can have like 3 or 4 at once depending on your system.
  6. PC can run an SSD and that being said more faster for running games and more space on the drives of over 2TB
Yet PC is not cheap if you want an good $2K or more. Yet still you can also get an very good gaming PC around $1K or under with an nice GPU in it.

I'm a console gamer, PS4 to be exact, and I've always preferred consoles to computers.
There's no need to constantly upgrade (unless you go out and spend two or three grand on a high-end pc). Whatever games you have will be playable on that generation's system - and with the PS3, for example, that was the better part of a decade using a single system.

I personally like the console more compared to computer games. The best part is that we get a bigger screen and more gadgets for the console gaming to make it more real.

With a PC you have the same screen options you get with a console, and far more. Same goes for "gadgets".

Yep, there is no set answer here on what is the best out of them all

Most of the time it comes down to personal preference, myself i am a PC gamer though i have used and played on a console, my own opinion comes more towards PC as i have had years of experience on them.

but some others may have more experience on consoles which may favor them more...

the answer mainly is down to personal preference and what you feel more comfortable with for gaming 🙂

there is no definitive answer to the question as empire stated above too 🙂

In my case, the answer depends on the games. All the titles I have been dying to play are on PS4, so I have no reason to invest on PC or any other console. Games' prices are relatively expensive all around lately, but that also depends on the the game type. The games I like to play are usually available on Steam for the same price compared to PS4.

You and I need to do gaming together one day 🙂

I completely agree with you. I made this statement as I am using almost the half of the monitor size compared to my television.

By default PC is better but ill say it depends on what games u wanna play, i play runescape overwatch for PC
Fifa for ps4
Cod and BF for xbox
