I don't do it, but found it pretty interesting.

Basically, go on to your cpanel, add on any domain you want www.google.com, www.youtube.com what ever you name it, then basically, create a email account with the addon domain such as [email protected], then you just delete the add-on domain, and you have your own google email.

Is that illegal?

I will try right now, have made an email under youtube 🙂

EDIT: Tryed to send an email from Google, sent but didnt recieve

I doubt it's illegal, but the emails wont go through since Google didn't create your email on their domain.

I did something like this for MSN messenger and started shitting my mates up 🙂

Does that mean you made them laugh? Because where I am from that sounds very odd.

Not illegal I don't think, but really fun if you do it to the right people 😛 .

It can be illegal because if you impersonate an employee / the company than you're going to get sued 🙂 but yeah

Yeah it could be illegal, but as long as you don't try to "pretend" you are employed by the site I don't think they'll care.

You can't receive emails because the MX record isn't set to your mail servers by the way.
