Is this laptop good?

So tomorrow, I'm getting a HP laptop. Here are the specifications:
17.3" HD LED
With BeatsAudio
Intel Core i7 Processor
8GB DDR3 Memory
750GB Hard Drive
DVD RW
Fingerprint Reader
Intel Wireless Display technology and Windows 7 Home Premium

So what do you think of this?

Don't know what you plan on using it for, but it'll be able to play most recent games at decent quality. If you do any image/video editing it'll run pretty smoothly as well. I say this because my laptop ain't that far off from yours and does all of the above.

My only advice is don't bother with the fingerprint reader. Kind of a useless feature. Not sure how much it costs, but I'd save the money regardless.

I have put DDR3 in the first post the whole time and the others I have no clue. :/ It was just a commercial coupon from Costco and to Fiona, the money is in dollars.

That's an amazing price. At least you won't be wasting 4000$ for a crappy Mac as good as that specs wise. Good buy, I say.

You do not state what GPU it has.

Those were my thoughts as well. If it has integrated graphics, then it might not perform well on newer games despite having a great CPU and lots of memory. However, with an i7 and eight gigs of RAM, I'd be surprised if it had an integrated GPU. My life partner just bought a laptop like that with GeForce 520M graphics (1024MB dedicated memory), and it runs everything very well. 🙂

Well you should do research on the product before you buy. Most of the timethings that are coupon advertisement are things they cant sell or over stocked.
