What if you could show a different home page to guests than you would show to someone who was logged into your site. Does anyone know if this is possible. So for instance, you might have a standard home page with article excerpts, links to forum posts (not just the standard forum home page where you see category listings). If you could use this idea, what type of 'teaser' content would you show on the home page to guests to entice them to sign up?

This is possible and how to do it depends on what software you are using.
Which software are you using? Do you have a forum? Where's the link? 😛

This can be achieved easily in MyBB. Not so sure about phpBB though, but it wouldn't be too difficult. In my opinion, all members, whether a guest or logged in, should see the same content.
