We're still waiting for the perfect mobile phone. Though there are plenty of great handsets out there, no-one has yet designed one that covers every single feature impeccably.

However, gadget magazine T3 reckons it might have cracked it. T3, in collaboration with design company The Alloy, has come up with the 01, a mobile which seamlessly integrates a camera, games machine, GPS unit and full web browser in a sleek slice of black metal.

It's a project that's still at the "wouldn't it be cool if…?" concept stage, but those behind it are serious about taking it further.

"Consumers deserve better mobile phones than what's available currently, and as all the technology we've featured in the 01 Phone is possible, we don't see why manufacturers can't build something similar," said Katherine Hannaford from T3.com.

In fact, The Alloy is currently creating a working prototype, so you may soon be able to get hold of your own 01. In the meantime...have a look at Microsoft's up-close galley

iPhone does this.

Camera, handheld games platform, iPod, Internet as well as a hell of a lot more.

It looks very nice but I am not sure if it is the perfect mobile phone.

I don't like playing my games on a PHONE, even though iPhone has some very innovative titles.

I'll stick with my PC,PS3,DS,360, and PSP.
AKA my consoles

As far,as phones are concerned I love the sony erricson k7i series, and the nokia N, and 65 series.

The perfect phone? That would be impossible by my standards. Well, sorta. For me a laptop is the perfect phone. With Voice over IP and a wireless card (the ones that connect to cell towers that is) its perfect. Offers internet, gaming, calling, email, and anything else a laptop can do.

If I had to choose a phone though, just give me a BlackBerry any day.
