Some say he's vulgar, cruel, and rude. However, some others might recognize that, but also see that a great many people (whom he attacks often) want praise for nothing.

For instance, people will do weak efforts at character development or development in anything and then say they have special rights and are adorable just because of who they are.

Well, I can understand that to a degree. For instance, my religion says everyone needs love and acceptance, but it's not all cut and dry.

So, to sum it up, I would rather had them pick another candidate, but I can't get on board with all criticism of Trump. I feel like some is not objective, often hypocritical, and self-righteousness.

For one example, I've not seen real evidence that Trump hates minorities or LGBTQ, only he isn't pampering them, like he wouldn't anyone else.

And I feel like people need to seek love from God, not the government. The government shouldn't be God.

I know that Trump's sense of humor is often misunderstood. He sounds just like my dad sometimes and I know that's because it's of his age group and probably even the culture of how he grew up. My dad wasn't rich, but he and his friends joke around in the same way saying stuff and it can sound harsh or morbid.

For example: I was driving and my dad was a passenger and a guy walked in front of my vehicle and I slammed on the brakes. My dad said, "Go ahead and hit him, he's not on the endangered species list."

Well, it's good you knew that was just a joke lol.

There's literally a standalone Wikipedia article that talks about persecution of trans people under his second term. Someone doesn't have to say it out loud, he hates trans people full stop so yes he hates LGBTQ people. Actions speak louder than words. Taking the rights away of a minority group is hate, full stop. Spreading misinformation to slander agroup of people is hatred too.

Calling it “persecution” is an untrue statement. Biological males in female sports are fundamentally unfair, taxpayers shouldn’t fund gender transition surgeries (especially for minors), and how are people supposed to be identified for identification/passports? I disagree wholeheartedly on removing people from the military, however. The definition of the word persecuted - “
Persecution is the systematic, persistent harassment, oppression, or punishment of individuals or groups—often causing suffering due to beliefs, race, religion, or identity
. It includes physical violence, discriminatory laws, and social marginalization. No "scientific term" specifically for the fear of being persecuted exists, though it aligns with intense, rational fear of harm.” — unless you think being ineligible for a military draft is a form of persecution, I don’t see your point, personally. Transgender people are still allowed to do the same things Constitutionally that they were allowed to do under Biden or Obama - speak, practice religion, bear arms, and vote.

I don’t think Trump is misunderstood. I voted for Trump three times. 2016 Trump is very different than 2024 Trump. 2016 Trump believed in building a wall, nonintervention in foreign affairs, and the average American was getting scammed. Those are all things that I agree with. 2024 Trump is little more than a cover for the pedophiles, globalists, and deep state republicans. I have little apathy or interest in him any longer. His 2016 wit is long past.

I've always been an extreme misfit myself and totally understand the pain of many, but I believe in focusing on survival in the world that is, as opposed to asking the world to cater to what I want. That's the strategy that works.

For instance, if I go out in the sun with no skin lotion, the sun doesn't care. It will give me cancer.

Trans women who are on HRT for a while usually don't have any advantages over cis women. In fact there's been a good number of trans women who actually lost against cis women. No tax payers are paying for gender surgeries and children are not getting those surgeries to begin with, this is another false statement made by Trump and other GOP members who have no clue what they're even talking about. Trans kids go by different names, pronouns and dress differently. They don't get puberty blockers unless they see a endocrinologist, a therapist and this is only if the parents allow these things to happen. Also puberty blockers have been around since the 1970's and are reversable if the child finds they're not trans later on. In most cases you have to be at least 18 to get surgeries and even then there are different kinds of surgery.

There's plenty of violence against trans people, especially trans women. There's quite a few discriminatory laws being passed in different states that are preventing trans people from accessing the bathroom that aligns with their gender. Just look at what Idaho is doing! If you can't see that this falls under the definition of Persecution that you listed, then you're cherry picking the definition. This is a discriminatory law full stop. It's segregation all over again just this time the target is trans people. So if a fully transitioned, bearded trans man needs to go to the restroom while he's in a government building he either has to wait to go home, or if he has to go really bad then he'll be forced to go into the women's restroom and face harassment because they'll be seeing a man going into the women's restroom. Tell me something, do you want this man in the women's bathroom? Because this law will force him to go to the women's restroom.

There's laws being passed to make gender affirming care illegal for trans children who now have to suffer because the GOP doesn't understand or care about these young people. It's not about "protecting women and children" it's about control. There's literally no benefit from passing these laws because at the end of the day it not only hurts trans people it also hurts cis people who might not look like a woman or man. It's meant to further divide the country and it's hate full stop. Also here's the link to an article talking about the law in Idaho.
