I switched from my laptop screen to a big monitor and I'm wondering if it's TOO big. I find that I have to move my head all over the place to look at things. What about you? Is your monitor too big?

Narrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

It's never too big, My monitor is 27inch and I know so many people have 55inch monitors or TV as their PC screens 😛

Even many have much as six monitors

The bigger, the better, so long as the image quality matches the size. 🙂

I believe my monitor is 32”

My monitor is 31.5 inches. I wouldn't mind having a huge ultrawide monitor, but I can't currently justify spending around $1000 on a monitor.

I have a laptop with a 15" screen which is ideal but I find working with two screens can help a lot, the only other screen I have access to though right now is my 32-inch TV which I hook an HDMI up to from my laptop for a second screen, I find that it works but it is a little too big.

I don't think monitors are too big. That's never even came up in my mind.

Can't remember the size on the monitors, but I do have one that's bigger than the other. Didn't realize it till I got home and started unboxing everything because I was so caught up in the excitement of a new computer set up. It's thankfully not too bad, and it's not too great of a size difference between the two monitors that it gives me any issues when looking between them.

My monitor setup tends to change depending on use but right now I have four 32" monitors arranged in a grid, driven by one PC and an iMac. In fact the iMac screen brings the total to five. That may sound excessive but I do a lot of audio processing which involves ripping, converting and copying between devices over 150,000 files. That's in addition to working in my studio and doing all the things we all do on a daily basis like checking emails.

I could in theory do it all on one monitor but it's really not practical or time efficient plus the chances of making a mistake increase exponentially which is not desirable when it takes days rather than hours to convert so many files.

When my new studio is finished I'll probably end up with two 32" monitors, the iMac plus a large screen TV. I've always run multiple monitors ever since it's been possible to do so. I find trying to work on a single screen far too limiting now.

lol... what about the mouse? :bluescluesparrot:
Add speed to the mouse lol... You'll get used to it. Then you will not want a small one again 🙂

My mouse is fine, it's just that I have to move my head because I wear progressive glasses and can't just move my eyes to focus on things. The sweet spot is in a certain location on my glasses lens, so, as my eye doctor told me, move your head like an owl to see.

I used to have a monitor, but it was not too big. I decided to switch to a laptop because it is more portable and convenient.
