I find since starting a Youtube channel about "computer help tutorials" my revenue earnings and visitor count for my websites gone up compared to just writing content on my website.
I only made 60 YT videos related to computer tutorials with my website links posted on the description and in the intro and outro of my videos. I also added as relevant tags for my video, and made sure to write a great video description in the video description area, so people can find my videos via Youtube search better.
Youtube video search seems less Competitive vs Google Search when it comes to ranking at the top of search listing results.
Plus, it seems to bring more targeted traffic to my sites compared to other methods like Twitter, social bookmarking, and submitting to search engines.
I notice my videos are in the first page when I search for them on Youtube, but my website articles or article submisions are not on the front page when I search for them on Google search for them.
