I'm trying to edit the Who's Online bit, but everything I do, it just doesn't change. I even got rid of the whole coding for it, saved it, but it still stayed there?
What's going on? I can edit other things, why isn't it changing?

Some sort of caching, most likely on the CMS end rather than client. Look for some sort of cache control within your control panel and purge or rebuild the cache. It should just be a simple click of a button.
I don't have any experience with that specific CMS, though I know IPB has that feature, so myBB probably does too.
Also be sure to always clear your client side cache whenever checking changes you've made to your site. You can do so by hitting Left Ctrl + F5 on the page in question
