Yes, it is quite possible.

A lot of websites do not rely on SEO for revenue and traffic, instead they focus on building "list". They focus on increasing subscribers and then they promote products to those subscribers.

What does that leave? It leaves the big ones with the corporate budgets to battle over who gets the top google spot. And you have no chance of competing.

You are 100% correct, internet is full of way too many sites. A lot of niches are actually extremely saturated.

I think if we actually eradicated search engines from our habitual patterns, we'd be forced to actually search for things via word of mouth, asking people in the real world. There would be more scope for smaller, unique websites and whenever we did stumble upon another site by coincidence or because someone else recommended it, it would feel refreshing and interesting.

Does anyone actually get that feeling anymore? That feeling of having stumbled upon a site that's truly unique and interesting? I don't. Most of the time, I see a site and think... 'huh. another forum...'

There are lot of techniques to get traffic for a site but the most recommended is to get traffic through organic searches. Because of this technique we get potential customers for our site.

Good Idea but you can not depend on subscribers always. You may increase your traffic but it can not be compared with SEO. SEO is the only method where you can get unique and lots of visitors..So I think there is nothing alternative seo.

Hi, no one can deny you could get traffic and visitors through other sources as well. However, search engines are covering up the entire Internet market with tremendous increase in search engine users. Thus, you need SEO to stay ahead of the others.Hope this makes sense.🙂

Nothing is impossible. I think it depends upon the type of business. If you provide web related services then it's quite tough to achieve success.
