Just wondering if you impose your own personal limits for what you consider moral or right or ethical when it comes to situations that have no clear cut boundaries of right or wrong. Or, do you just feel like since something is not illegal then it's OK to do.

Just because something isn't illegal doesn't mean it's right.
It just means it's the law doesn't say it's a criminal offence.
So yes you can do it without being sued in a court of law.
But it doesn't mean you won't lose friends by doing it. 😉
<whatever it is you're doing, that is to say> 😛

I don't see 'legal' and 'illegal' as correlated with 'moral' and 'not moral'.

So in other words, there are some things I think that are legal which I think are unethical and some things I think that are ethical which are technically illegal.

good question,

for example, physically attacking a burglar to prevent a break in or home raid or taking the life of a known serial killer, morally with this person no longer being on the streets would be right for the safety and well-being of others though it is against the law.

or watching someone go hungry after they've just asked someone for $10 to get themselves a meal and doing nothing. it's not illegal but is it the right thing to do?

This is one of the most stupid things they could think of, it's OK for someone to break into your property, murder rape and steal from you but oh no, you can't touch them, just let them do it. A while ago a law was passed in the ukallowing you to defend yourself against criminals who break into your property.

A topic about business would fit this well. Most people in business will agree that if they scam someone and the person didn't know better then it's just called "smart business".

I disagree with the it I sometimes feel like I'm alone when I watch both Atheists, christian, muslum, or whatever all do that junk.

So all Atheists, Christians and Muslims scam people and no one else does?. Yeah because that's true... 😵

LOL,

As for exemple, in France a couple of days ago a jewellery has been attacked, guy wanted to rob things and pointed a gun at the owner, owner reacted and pulled up a shotgun, killed the buglar and he is now in jail for killing that guy. well that's kind of stupid since at the end the owner just protected his life, though he didn't know the gun was not loaded and was not actual a real gun but a gum shot gun.

On the other side, you point a gun at a policeman, he can shot you down, same context, they will say he saved his life.

I love doing things that are declared illegal, I mean I do things that might not be legal, though I don't think I actually hurt anyone else by doing them.

Let's say, I grow weed, though it's illegal, who am I hurting if I don't do anything with those and even though I was smoking them, who am I hurting if I smoke at home, on my own just before going to bed? still that is illegal and I could face 7 years sentence and up tp $14000 fine. Smoking is bad? Well then why do they authorise some people with deseases that required weed to help them (plenty of exemples for that)
