I have a problem with iTunes.

It always says:

I installed it good before but it isn't working.

I'd help but the image doesn't work.

*Edit: It loads once I post this message x) Umm, have you tried downloading a new installer for it?

I double what Dan said... but it can also be that the installer is simply trying to look for an executable file that doesn't exist on your system...

Make sure that you're downloading the right setup file for your system (thinking you might have downloaded a setup made for XP while you're using Vista or 7).

Ugh, um. Have you tried running as administrator? Check if Itunes shows up in the installed programs if so uninstall it.

Is it possible that your Windows installation is somehow damaged? If that is the case, you might be able to run the repair facility, which should fix the installer and let you run this.

Alright.

try this: http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9723030

That will make you download a exe file which enables Windows Installer logging.

Once downloaded and ran, try installing itunes again and if it fails again it will create a log file. After it fails close it and go to command prompt and use cd %temp% that will bring the command prompt to the temp directory.

Open windows explorer (windows key + E) and go to the directory that command prompt went to, for me it was C:\Users\myusername\AppData\Local\Temp the file will begin in msi and in a .log extension.

That should show the error that it encountered while installing itunes.
