There was a movie which I haven't seen, but I'm mostly talking about the books.

Currently, this is my favorite book series, as it is very well written, and each book offers quite a bit of variety. The series features a large number of locations across the country, and the entire series has an all-american feel to it. This is a very good series, and I highly recommend it. 🙂

Has anyone here read any of these books? Seen the movie?

I've seen the movie. It was okay. I wouldn't say its Tom Cruise's best work. But it was entertaining. 🙂
