We all know that Jackie Chan is great with his kung fu which made him a popular actor. But for me, his humor is greater than his stunts. All his movies show footages behind the scenes which prove that he himself is doing the stunts. His popularity in Hong Kong cannot be measured. In one documentary that was shown on tv, Jackie Chan was helping rural children in building schools. Aside from his own money, Jackie conducts fund raising programs for the purpose. His philanthropic act is legendary.
I think it's a great idea when famous people, Jackie Chan being a good example, doing great works during their free time when they aren't making movies or doing tv shows or whatever it is that made them famous. I know they don't have to give back to the community, whether they donate their time or their money or anything else, but it's great to see them do things like that even though they don't have to.
