Your Forum Review

First Impressions & Appearance - (Out of 20)
When I first loaded your forum, I scrolled down and took a quick glance at the theme. At the first glance, your theme looks unique and polished. It also seems to be friendly to one's eyes. Then, I scrolled back up and noticed that your header is gigantic. I'm using the 1280 x 800 resolution, and your header forces me to scroll down nearly a page and a half just to get to the forums. You may want to cut that down a bit, as it can be tedious to have to scroll down so far to see the content. Looking at the style in more depth, I noticed that some of the images were a little repetitive, notably the cell pics with the flames. I like the flames, but I would recommend only using the flame images at the very top of each category. Under that (where it says, "Forum, Topics, Posts, and Last Posts"), I would simply use a black background. When I took a peek at your forums, I saw that two of them were empty! I realize after looking closer that the forums are empty intentionally, but empty forums of any kind can be off-putting to prospective members. You may wish to post at least an announcement in each of those forums. Your forum has a decent amount of posts and members; I doubt that either of those statistics would be off-putting to prospective members. Despite a few issues, I found your forum's stats and appearance relatively impressive at a glance.

Site Layout - (Out of 20)
The main issue with your layout is that you have way too many forums. Forums with long indexes can be annoying to some members. Since your site is specifically themed, I can't exactly tell you what can be cut out of your main categories; I know very little about James Bond. All I can really recommend for these categories is trying to merge and delete forums that don't get very many posts. Utilizing sub-forums may be a good option for your forum as well. As for the "007 Lounge" category, though, I have several specific recommendations. Firstly, I would recommend merging your "Sports Lounge," "NON Bond Music Forum," and "NON Bond Films and T.V Shows" forums into one multi-purpose entertainment forum. Not only would it shorten your index, but it would also give you one forum with a larger post count rather than several forums with small post counts. I would also recommend making your "Member Interviews" forum a sub-forum under the "New Members" forum.

Statistics and Activity - (Out of 20)
According to my rough calculations, your forum currently receives around twenty-five posts per day. Your forum isn't dead, but there is a lot of room for improvement. Post exchanges are of little value to you at this point, as your forum is no longer extremely new; ten posts won't dramatically affect your stats. You have one hundred and thirty members, so I may recommend sending out a mass e-mail just to let them all know that your forum is still up and running; several of them may have forgotten about your forum. You may also find it helpful to request some of the advertisement services offered here at Forum Promotion and other promotion forums. There are also many other James Bond forums, several of which are advertised at Forum Promotion and other promotion forums. Perhaps you could sign up on those sites and post around a bit while wearing your forum's signature banner (be sure not to spam their forums, of course).

Staff Moderation - (Out of 20)
If I can count, you currently employ four people. I would say that that number is sufficient, and I also wouldn't recommend that you hire any more staff members at this time. Judging by post count, three of your four staff members appear to be active. However, the remaining staff member currently has only fifteen posts. It is important that your staff members appear active, as this a factor that some prospective members may look at. While having one graphic designer who appears inactive probably won't be the bane of your forum's existence, you may wish to encourage the staff member in question to become more active. Looking at the actual posts on your forum, your staff members appear to conduct themselves fairly well. I see that your staff members have created a good amount of content for the forum (which encourages discussion). However, I do see some issues. The most glaring of these issues is that there has been a lot of double/triple/quadruple/et cetera posting from staff members. While this is not an issue if it's done sparingly, I looked at approximately ten of the topics on your forum and saw about three instances of this. You may wish to edit your posts instead of posting multiple messages in a row in the future. Your staff appears to be okay, but there is some room for improvement.

Spelling/Grammar & Professionalism - (Out of 20)
You have at least tried to use complete sentences in the descriptions of your forums. That is more than I can say for many forums out there. You do have some grammatical errors on your forum, though; these errors lie primarily in capitalization and punctuation. My advice to you would be to check the descriptions of your forums to see if you can spot any errors. Perhaps you could fix some of them. Every word I see capitalized in the middle of a sentence that is capitalized on your forum doesn't need to be, with the exceptions of the names you have (Bond, Connery, et cetera) and names of films (such as "Quantum of Solace"). All the other words that are common nouns should begin with lowercase letters. I doubt that anybody (except the grammar gurus) would notice very many of the punctuation errors. As for professionalism, though, you and your staff seem very knowledgeable about James Bond; you have created a lot of content related to the theme of your site.

Final Remarks: While it does have some issues, I think that your forum still has potential.

What was most liked about the website/forums: I like your forum's appearance and the fact that you've created plenty of content related to the central theme.

What was disliked most about the website/forums: Your activity is probably your weakest point.

How could I get you (The Reviewer) to join my website? I don't think this is really a fair question for me to answer; I'm not interested in James Bond. 😉
