-bigeyes- OH CRAP, grey smilies.
I don't suppose
Mr. Bond would care? But me? I'm not confident that I'll have any chance at seeing it. I still haven't gotten to see the last one.. But Craig does seem promising.
They've been re-airing the older Pierce Brosnan versions on some station the last couple of nights. Hopefully these ones will be better. -razz-
hey House
🙂 My god the internet is a small world -lol- haha, nice username.
I agree with you van1lla the theme song is not great, that doesn't spell things real good for the start of the film in my opinion as the opening theme is always the thing that really sets the initial tone of the film for me. Casino Royales "You know My Name" by Chris Cornell was fabulous in my opinion, the rocker type theme went well and fit the film very well.
I
adore Casino Royale, the series was so stale by time Die Another Day and really need a fresh new actor and an
extremely well made film to get it back on it's feet and back to it's roots that Ian Fleming set in his original novels.
Daniel Craig, at first I hated the idea of him, he looks nothing like what James Bond "has looked like" in the past, but after viewing the film many many more times he has grown on me and I think he is a great Bond, he's a great actor regardless but he's played Bond so well and more in the tone that Ian Fleming originally meant for him to be.
Quantum of Solace is going to go even deeper into this new Bond persona, as well as bring back some of the old themes such as Bond up against large criminal organizations. But they are also getting rid of a lot of things that made previous films great, M and monneypenny, gadgets (for the most part), bond won't be saying "Bond, James Bond" ( ~evil~ ) and several other changes so i'm not real sure how this one will turn out. I have high expectations but we'll just have to wait and see.
