As most know, I've created a new general discussion forum. In fact, it's like super duper new. In light of its newness and how close to a new year it is, I am running several events on the site. Take a look below and check out The Cool Kids.
January Contests - Link
There are several contests throughout the forum for the month of January. This will continue each month through an event called monthly contests. Most contests reward forum currency and that money will be able to buy things from our shop once we set it up. Contests will also reward items such as little item icons for user profiles, custom user titles, custom user colors, a private/public forum custom to the user's wants, and much more. The January contests are underway!
January Discussions - Link
Across several forums, there is a pinned "Monthly Chat" thread. That chat will remain pinned until the end of the month until another chat takes its place.
Monthly contests and discussions can be easily navigated via the links under the cbox as those links take you to a thread that contains all the contests and discussions in one thread each.
Battle of the Houses (BOTH) - Link
Atrium did a BOTH a year or so ago and it seemed to be a lot of fun. So, I decided to try it out. That said, it'll work a bit differently. Our BOTH will last for 13 weeks. During that 13 weeks, there are several holidays and each holiday will contain a mini event with multiple contests woven into them. There will be forum scavenger hunts, real life scavenger hunts, cryptograms, crosswords, jigsaw puzzles, art contests, and much much more throughout the duration. At the end of the event, the house with the most points wins and gets a special user color (all members), and an item for their profile. Then, the next event will start for the next 13 weeks. However, instead of BOTH Hogwarts Houses, we'll move on to BOTH Game of Thrones edition or something like that. Just a little fun thing to keep things interesting!
So, we currently have January Contests & Discussions, and BOTH is about to start 12/31/17! What do you guys think?
