Hello. This is a brand new site that I created from scratch. I was tired of the usual forum types so decided to create my own. It kept me out of trouble for a year.
It allows users to create their own subscription base and moderate their own threads, effectively creating many forums within a forum.
You have the usual thread types: discuss, survey/poll but you can also 'promote events' and conduct 'questionnaires'; similar to Myer Briggs personality test.
Advanced users can also publish news articles: http://www.jembuzz.com/jemnews/
Anyway, I'm hear to learn how to build a membership base from scratch (almost). Any help will be appreciated.
