Very true. When there has been a cover up, I feel that it is better for most people involved, when that cover up is exposed. I wasn't there and I don't pretend to understand how difficult it must have been for those that were. Hopefully what has come out can give them at least a little bit of peace.sapper said:No amount of inquiries or apologies will bring back those Men, Women and kids, and it's very easy to apportion blame with hindsight.

The official inquiry into the disaster, the Taylor Report (1990), concluded that "the main reason for the disaster was the failure of police control."[4] The findings of the report resulted in the elimination of standing terraces at all major football stadiums in England, Wales and Scotland.
the Hillsborough Independent Panel, which in September 2012 concluded that no Liverpool fans were responsible for the deaths, and that attempts had been made by the authorities to conceal what had happened, including the amendment by police of 164 statements relating to the disaster.

The one thing they wont seem to accept though is, that despite the cover ups and the apportioning of blame, they wont accept that it was Liverpool fans who stormed the exit tunnel to pens 3 & 4, that caused the crush, they are trying to shift the whole blame onto the police for the deaths.
