The song was rewritten for Joiningjack by Mel Leaford from Sacred Heart Primary School and was performed live at the DW Stadium before the Wigan Saint's Match on 7th September.
Sacred Heart have been great supporters of the charity and raised a lot of money for us, thank you very much for all your hard work!
Gareth Nuttall from 'The Lounge' recording studio in Wigan kindly produced it into something special.
It's a great collaboration, a talented teacher, a record producer and a set of ordinary Wigan school children making something that will make a difference to the awareness of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
All proceeds of the single go to Joiningjack.
The message behind the song is simple;
Jack is a little boy with an incurable muscle wasting condition.
He is a small part of the world.
But we want to make a difference to those living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, like Jack.
We want to find a cure.
You can help us.
All the proceeds from his song go towards research into treatments for DMD.
If we all join Jack then we can make his small voice heard.
