This forum community is brand new and currently has no members other than me, your humble administrator. Looking to start an active forum full of members!
Let me start off by welcoming you to Forum Promotion.
Now, I will tell you this, you're gonna have a little trouble, getting new members interested, since the forum is VERY empty. I know you're looking for new members, but it's your job, as admin, to make the first move, and get some topics in each section.
It looks pretty good so far, I strongly advise you stick around with our community, we're all advetisers, just like you, and all want the same goals ... activity, and success. You'll learn and gain so much, here.
Thanks, I appreciate the advice. Forums gotta start somewhere right? How can I get members if no one wants to visit it because there are NO MEMBERS? Seems like flawed logic in my opinion. As members join, topics will start appearing. One person joined so far and they seem to like it provided we get more members.
By the way, my flawed logic comment was not meant to be a smart ass or rude reply. I totally understand what you are saying, and I truly appreciate the advice. But seriously, forums gotta start somewhere. At the beginning, they always have zero members and little to no topics right? That is like a new town/country being established and no one wants to go there because there are little to no citizens living there yet. Everything has a starting point.

As far as one big forum, what do you mean? I have forums for various subjects of interest. Creating sub forums when I have basically no members would be useless at the moment wouldn't it? As the forum grows, more forums and sub forums will be created. I read on a site that when you start a forum, having a bunch of forums and sub forums with little to no posts looks bad. Having a smaller amount to start with, with some posts looks better than a huge load of forums with no posts.

Ok, well I tried following your advice guys and I put up a better looking banner on the forum besides the php logo that it had by default. I also posted a topic to the forums that did not yet have topics so it looks more filled out. I also added two more common interest forums, video games and sports. For now I think those 8 forums are enough. If and when my forum gets more members, sub forums and such can be added as it is needed and requested by other members. The video game forum was actually added per a member request.
I got a few more members to join, but hopefully as time passes the forum will get more. Thanks again for the advice guys! 🙂
