Joining 4-H

I was in my towns 4-H for about 6-ish years and was the treasurer for it for my last year before we moved eight hours away. For those who don't know what 4-H is, it's a group of clubs that teach leadership skills, life skills, etc. For most people, you probably see your local 4-H at state fairs and things with their animals, and most people think 4-H is all about animals which is not really the case. Heck I learned how to interact with satellites using a handheld GPS and learn how to use 3D mapping software at my 4-H. 😛

Has anyone else been in 4-H?

I haven't. I would have tried to get on a team when I was younger, but I never had enough time to do them.

Hmm, interesting. My town has never had a 4-H before, atleast not that I know of. I probably would never had done one I did like 4 sports at once, haha.

We have a youth division here, and my niece has recently finished a sowing class. She plans on taking a class on making bird houses next.

I used to be in 4-H. I won first place on my bullying essay. 😛
