Anyone have a vote on this?

For me I prefer Joomla. You are able to do much more imo on Joomla. On wordpress I feel pretty restricted.

should of added an poll then to the topic 😉

Both are fantastic and with good management systems. Joomla comes with many more built-in features than WordPress however, WordPress is my vote as its ease of use for huge global community and allot more plugins and themes.

I find that non-developer users would find it much easier to build with WordPress than Joomla

I haven't heard of people speak of Joomla in ages, for the most part I have only heard people using Wordpress the limitations are pretty endless. Wordpress is also pretty lightweight and the last I heard Joomla is pretty bulky to start and can be very confusing.

Joomla can be confusing with their article/menu/module/category setup for some, but I like it.

All comes down to if you need an advanced CMS site, or a simple blog or site.

I love them equally.

I love Wordpress because it is highly customizable and has a bigger user-base which means more plugins. With that said I never even considered using another platform, so I can't really knock Joomla.

I prefer WordPress because its latest with more user-friendly concepts. It provides many plugins of more functional website development. I have good experience in WordPress website development. If you want to hire dedicated WordPress developer for one week or at very affordable rates then hire me from Medma.
