Hello everyone! My name is Jordan Howard. Some of you know me, most of you don't.

I'm a fellow website administrator, and developer. I use to own a semi popular network of websites back before 2012. After certain untimely events happened, I sold it off. After that I entered the forum world and joined Forum Promotion.

I have done a lot of start ups and investments, and also owned several forums including one which was 10 years old with millions of posts.

Forum Promotion / Sam has interviewed me in the past, you can find that interview here:
http://forumpromotion.net/member-spotlight/interview-jordan-howard

However, it is a little bit old now and am willing to do an AMA for recent times! If you have any questions, now is the time!

So, ask away!

P.S. Feel free to follow my FP Account: http://forumpromotion.net/members/jordan.15692/follow

I have worked on a lot of projects. It is hard to pick and choose.
My old webmaster forum will always have a place in my heart. I loved the users on the site, made a lot of good friends in it. Not to mention the site was in my niche. I did a lot of work for that site. Creating custom addons, giving our free premium resources, integration of many scripts into xenforo, the big thousands of dollars worth in competitions it had over the years, etc.

I ultimately regret selling it. I mean, it was my favourite site to visit on a day to day basis. however, after my home burnt down, I needed money drastically. Hopefully in the future, I can re acquire it and bring it back to its former glory.

Currently, I would say my favourite project though is www.Snap.me.
It is something I have been working on since December 2015, and it is still not released to the public! I have coded the script and back end of the website my self.

If you know what prntscr / lightshot, gyazoo, puu.sh and all those are, this is a similar site. But, something of my own creation. It takes instant screenshots like the other sites do as such:
https://snap.me/rYHykd

However, it does feature more options such as being able to upload GIFs, cleaner design, and a powerful API that can make other modules and addons for. Example, I already created a XenForo addon for it for even more easier sharing!

From what I've heard, most original owners who sell their forums end up regretting it in the end. It seems like no matter who buys it, there is a high chance that he/she will turn it into something that it was never meant to be. I'm sorry to hear that you had to sell it for financial reasons. πŸ™

How long have you been on the internet?

Ya, not that I wanted to sell it. I also am not the original owner of that site though either! I was originally a member of it. I would like to say, the original owner was a friend.

I am currently 21 years old now, and I had a computer since I was 4 years old. Built my first website when I was 7. So, pretty much my entire life πŸ™‚

Pretty much the same for me. :3

Do you have any siblings?

Wow, that's a lot of siblings. :O

Are you close to your family?

Are you close to your family?
I'd like to think so.
I was going to be the best man at my sisters wedding (To the groom of course). However, they unfortunately split up. I am still very good friends with my brother in law.
I was the best man at my brothers wedding that just happened in August.

When running an website/forum, what is the hardest part and why?

Also the good points?

Supergirl or superman?

Although, Laura Vandervoort as Super Girl is a hard choice to make πŸ˜‰

Websites are easy. Forums are hard πŸ™‚
Hardest part of running a forum? Maintaining curiosity and activity.

Good points would be the sense and feeling of a friendly community that you have built.

When are you going to start building awesome things again? πŸ™
What you mean :O I been working on Snaap for some time πŸ˜‰
However, frankly I have had no time to do anything in regards to any more start ups in some time. Hopefully everything go back to normal. As of right now, My time is the most valuable thing I have.

Do you drive?
No I do not. I use to travel a lot. Like, I mean I use to be on a plane at least 6 times a year. So I never got a license as well, you can't bring cars on commercial airplanes πŸ˜‰

Now that I been 21, and have not had the chance to travel in the last little while, I am thinking of getting my license!
