What do you guys think? If we are able to successfully gather complete DNA from prehistoric creatures do you think eventually we will be able to clone them?

I think it would be pretty awesome. It would probably be best to keep dinosaurs in a zoo or Jurassic Park type park setting but I think it would be pretty awesome.

Now I'd recommend anybody building such a park watch the movie and make sure they don't make the same mistakes or leave the same loopholes but it would be pretty awesome if something along the lines of a real live Jurassic Park could be scientifically engineered in the future.

What do you think? Do you think it's possible?

Sure It's Possible. Should It Be Done? I Don't Think So But That Doesn't Stop Other Things From Happening That American's Are Against.

You Cannot Simply Watch Jurassic Park And Build A Park Based On A Movie. A Simple Electric Fence Isn't Going To Keep An Animal That Large At Bay. Could You Imagine The Power Consumption Those Wires Would Have To Carry To Effectively Stun The Dinosaur Into Backing Away From The Fence? A Crazy Amount!

When A Dinosaur Steps On Your House I Don't Think You'll Think It's Awesome Anymore Lol

I think that if something crazy like this was created it would be insane to live out in the open anyways 😀

I believe with science now and in the future, pretty much anything is possible...

Possible - Maybe. ~rolleyes~
Probable - well maybe not ~biggrin~

But one thing is certain, I would 'not' fancy being
an animal keeper in a place like that.
Imagine feeding times !!!

I think eventually yes. But we have to be highly advanced. I'm sure it will happen though.

It could be possible in the future, but i don't know if people would want dinosaurs back

I hope not. That would be really scary, even if it was on some faraway island in the Pacific. Just knowing it exists would scare the crap out of me.

its simply a matter of time brain, they certainly have the technology and know how right now hun xxx

Well the thing is all the fossils left of dinosaurs are no longer bones but rocks left by the impression so there is no DNA left...

However, apparently there is a fossilized mammoth that would be a candidate for cloning....

I think it's okay to do it as long as the animal is not reintroduced into the wild as the ecosystem has learnt to adapt without it.

I don't think we can now, but soon we probably could. We are cloning cows now and someone cloned her dead dog so i belive its possible. Just once technology keeps devloping.
