I love the whole idea! Try adding a bevel effect and maybe a gradient background.

I think that the colors clash a bit too much on all of them. Add more contrast.

Yes, it is very boring - I understand that. The way it was made, it was at a point of no return so I just ended it with some alternate colors and stopped working on it. Basically I screwed up the layers so fixing it was impossible (History was messed up too, so I couldn't revert back to the beginning stages).
