Just got hacked!!!

Try to do a fresh install of the theme, and make a more difficult password.

If that doesn't work, reinstall your forum, and make a more difficult password.
 
Im just trying to figure out how to remove the hacked page, cant find the .php page, it has nothing to do with the theme.
 
what forum script was you running? how did he find your 1 day old site? check for the last ip's that visited your site before the hacking and ban them, also share the ip so i can ban it =]
 
Idk, my host replies "We ban his account, we find out who he is" Im pretty sure they just made that up, why would the hacker have a account.
 
It may be down to the server and not a problem with any scripts you were running. Just restoring the forum probably will only mean that it will happen again unless you find the cause and fix the problem.
 
Can you not check the date and times files/folders where edited, added etc..?

My control panel shows details of when a file was edited or added. Look for the most recent one.

Yes I did that already... I looked at the folders and files, but it was all yesterday, and I got hacked today.

Did you try deleting the codes/pages that making it redirect to the hacker page?

I would suggest you to upload all new phpbb script files again except config.php and then run database_update.php from install directory.This will make a new forum install with all previous data but there will be no mods previously installed.Hope this might help.

I dont have phpbb on it, I use vB on it, and guys please dont try to help if you dont know what I am asking for... because so far whatever evryone has been suggesting I already knew/did.
 
Sorry for my mistake and does that mean a fresh install is also not sorting this problem.

Yes because all my work will be gone... im trying to just remove the deface page
 
Hey did you tried to upload all new vb script file with new config.php with all hooks disable and then update the old Database.I tried this once when my vb installation messed up.This saved my mods but only thing which didn't worked was custom theme which only requires re uploading theme files which is not that difficult.
 
Im just going to cancel this site, and sell the domain, Im just happy www.planetgamers.info is ok, I guess one forum is enough... i asked for a refund from my host, hope they give me one.
