Yeah, different school districts start school at different times. Ours always starts around the end of August and goes up till the middle or end of May.

Well i have been in school about a month now. Failing every class except somehow have a perfect grade in s.s.... mainly the fact that i really don't care and feel i shouldn't be there. It's a dumpload of work dropped on you at an insane rate, i just get overwhelmed. *shrugs*

Do some work man. It's more trouble than it's worth to slack, trust me, I did that all of Freshman year, and halfway through sophomore before I thought "If I just did the effing work, I wouldn't be constantly grounded!" So please, just do the effing work.

Then, instead of posting on forums, maybe you should study or work ahead. Maybe even ask the teacher about extra credit opportunities? The teacher will probably say no, but it's worth a shot. Good luck!

Go do work and get better grades. Trust me. You don't want to fuck up your life. I spent my 8th grade year doing ABSOLUTELY nothing at all and I had like mid 80s all year and then for my first Freshmen report card I had an 88 GPA and my parents flipped out on me and I started actually doing the work and I ended Freshman year with a 96.25 GPA so just take your head outta your ass do the work. Especially for the advanced classes. My best suggestion to you, especially for an 8th grader, is to find out which classes you have will count on your transcript and focus on those. Just totally blow off anything that won't go on your transcript. I know it sounds counter education but it won't matter for Freshmen year because it's different work and it won't ever be put on your transcript.. if that motivates you to work in your advanced classes at all maybe maybe not.
