It seems like while I was gone, the median age dropped from about 18 to 10.

17 in April. Yeah that would be weird if there was someone aged 0-5.
And yes the average site owner's age is dropping.
Hopefully it will go up to 13+ however, 15+ would be the best. It really depends on how mature someone is, but the older you are the more experience you have. However, if a 10 year old has 10 years of successful forum owning experience then that would probably be acceptable.

The anonymity of the internet generally means people (sepcifically younger teenagers *cough* Tayne / Oliver *cough*) think they can get away with what they like - as long as they're sat safely behind their computer screen where nobody can touch them.

I agree though. Average Age of the community has crashed through the floor.

I am 14, turned 14 a month ago.

Also, I believe that I dont act like a 9 year old, I go about my business online as mature as possible, sometimes more mature than the 15 and 16 years old's I meet online.
