So what do you think www.justgfx.com is worth? I'm not selling or anything, I've just been curious on how much some may think it's worth.

It's not worth anything IMO. It looks nice, but it has no activity.

You're funny 3k posts don't come from no where and those active members within the past 24 hours don't just appear there either.

Anyway, personally I don't care for GFX Design however I do believe that this site, in my opinion of course, is worth around 40-60 dollars, could breach 100$ if the template is custom.

Looks like twenty dollars to me.
The domain is good, the graphics are okay and the theme is semi-custom.
There is activity and there are some posts.

Can you stop going around telling everyone that their domain/site isn't worth anything please? Because we dont think yours is worth anything either! It's getting annoying... Post a price or dont post one please.

Lool.. I don't think you've ever seen her site if you mean that ;P

How old is JustGFX?

Just GFX is just over 2 months old.
Thanks for the appraisals guys. 🙂

Nothing is a value in a sense. My brothers company buys websites and such and sells them to other companies, that's not really part of my job but as a manager of his company I have to have some understanding of whats valuable and what is not.

When buying a website the value is in the content, or in forum terms posts and users, and the domain name. But the domain name has to be a good one.

3,000 posts isn't really a value. I don't sign off on a forum acquisition unless it has minimum 50,000 posts on most occasions. .

and unfortunately I have seen very few sites here which I would sign off on an offer for.

FP is mostly for young webmasters.
The majority of people just have enough money to manage their forum.

Go to TAZ, 400k posts and the forum is just open for a short time is very common.
TAZ members have money to spend.

People here in FP learn to manage with XX money.
The forums won't go far fast.

I understand your concept, and i somewhat agree with it.
But i still don't agree with your concept that it don't worth anything. Will you make a forum with a proper TLD, a premium theme from audentio and have 3000 posts and give it to me for Free ?
Obviously you won't and you can't.

For professional buyers, 3000 posts isn't a mark, and they would go for atleast 50,000 posts as you said. But obviously they would pay atleasy 1k $'s for them. So considering it, this forum would atleast go $60+.

And just to mention, not every buyers are looking for bigger Forums. For buyers will minimum budget and want a decent site, this would be their best choice.

Here's the thing though, why would I as a buyer spend more money on basically a blank forum when I could spend less to create a forum and basically have the same thing.

That's my issue with all of this. You can get a domain name and hosting on yahoo for 10 bucks a month, and forum software can be purchases for a couple of hundred. I think IPB is less than 300 for their software and I have seen other brands for cheaper.

Now if I buy a forum I am going to have to likely pay those same bills(minus the domain) plus fees for conversion of the host and a lot of other fees plus the price of the board. That is going to just be a waste of the buyers money, and if the buyer is too lazy or time consumed to be able to build up a forum than they're likely too lazy or time consumed to successfully run and forum and are just wasting their money.

Ya I understand Jessica but not every site is worthless I've seen a site like this go before for around $90 around same amount of post and everything else... I was just saying that because you say everything isn't worth anything.

That is only your company. Just because your company wouldn't pay that much, does not mean someone else won't.

Ever heard of private buyers? That is where the true money is at.

@OP 50$ as it is now. Is how much I think it is worth.

I would say around $75-$100. The domain is short, that's a plus. The theme is pretty commonly seen. Activity could be better especially for 2 months. It's free software so you can't really get anything for that. The forum has potential, no doubt, but I think you would be lucky to get another over what I quoted.

umm... that activity is great for 2 months... what the hell are you guys talking about...?

Hardly any forums reach past 1,000 at all, and he made it past 3k in two months.

I'd say over $100.

No offense meant but that's not a lot for two months. Maybe your comparing your own forum to JustGFX or something I'm not sure but with the right experience 3K to 5K a month is easy to obtain.
