I can't believe it, we've only been open for just over a month now and our domain is already a PR2. 🙂 There are domains that are years old and they aren't even a single page rank yet. I only purchased the domain 43 days ago and we're a PR2.

A PR (PageRank) is what Google uses to determine the importance of a web page. It's one of many factors used to determine which pages appear in search results. It's based on the amount of quality back links your domain has and the high the pagerank, the better (rank system from 1-10). Some domains that are around for years don't even achieve PR1.

Wow!! I just checked and i also have PR2. Google updated quickly this time instead of the usual 4-6 months. Last time was 28 JUNE!
Before that 25 Jan.... I hope Google starts updating every 2 months 🙂

Mind sharing where you got this info. I ask because I am quite sure pagerank still helps. As seen here http://google.about.com/od/searchengine ... plain.html

I am not saying high page rank will make you the #1 result,but it does still help with seo.

@OP great job getting PR #2.
