Well, conceptually the forum is interesting. I like the idea of a Mario & Luigi series forum.

But the style looks bland, unedited and unappealing, there are no interesting forum sections or topics and there's been no work done to make it worth joining at the moment (other than basic set up and a favicon).

Good luck anyway though!
 
That's not how it works. You make a nice style and post content, and THEN people join your site.
 
Yeah, you've got to make your site look appealing otherwise people won't join. And why should people join your forum when you; the Admin, cannot be bothered to post content for them to reply to? When they make the decision to then they will post their own content.

You can start my giving it a title on the homepage. Next, maybe add a couple of categories and forums. I can't even tell what your forum is about.

After that, you can publish content like @CM30 recommended.
