Kathy Bates Says She Will Retire After CBS’ ‘Matlock’: “This Is My Last Dance”

She's had an absolutely amazing career and I'm so happy for what she's been in especially American Horror Story.

Well, she's 76, so she probably just wants to enjoy life now. I enjoyed her most in the movie Misery and was happy to see her on American Horror Story. When she acts, you forget it's not real.

She's doing one last show which is exciting! She's had cancer a couple of times so probably wants to slow down a bit.

Hopefully she still makes the odd one or two guest appearances in tv shows whenever she feels like it.

Kathy Bates is one of my favorite actresses of all time! Kudos to her for retiring, she did great throughout the years and I bet she wants to live out her golden years in peace.

She’s had a pretty good run and has seen a lot of success! Retiring now leaves her a good amount of time to enjoy her retirement!
