What are things you say to keep a conversation going?

Most of the time I ask about a few things:

• What do you do for a living?
• Are you in school / what did you study?
• What do you like to do for fun?
• Favorite TV show?
• Favorite Movie?
• What music do you listen to?

I try to make the convo all about them to show that I really care about who they are. 🙂

Standard things that come to mind would be either ask them a question or compliment them.

However I mainly ask questions that I have been posting in a lot of the ask me threads. I'm rather anti-social when it comes to people offline. :lol:
