On most of my forums, I create a special hidden thread (in my personal board aka cyber office, lol) that shows keywords for new topic ideas to post on the forum. I usually have 10-50 topic ideas for each main niche board on this list. I was wondering if any of you practice this at all?

I just feel inspired when I get new topic ideas so I write them down for later otherwise I might forget them!

I constantly find myself writing down article ideas.
I don't always do topic ideas as I hardly create topics unless it's a spur of the moment thing.

Yes I do, a little different way. I used to note down in my phone notepad when ever ideas pops up. The topic titles will be going through keyword research and screening before it become a live topic.
It helps me a lot to bring up very good topics in my forum.

I always write down article ideas. Indeed, a lot of the time, I end up writing full articles and then putting them up online later.

Yes, I usually write them down on my notepad same as a few others. Although I forget half of the time that I've written them down. That sounds like a good idea actually to post them into a hidden thread, I'd never forget then. 😀

Sometimes, I'll do this for my own forum, jot down ideas for future posts and then go there on days when I don't feel particularly inspired to post. The idea file serves as great inspiration.
